What is a CMS and what is it used for
CMS is an application for web content management (content management system). The name publishing system is also used.
CMS is used to create and edit the content of web pages using a simple online WYSIWYG editor (similar work as in a text editor such as MS Word).
The great advantage of a CMS is that even a person who has no experience with creating web pages can edit the page (no knowledge of HTML is required). The CMS thus makes it possible to save money that would have to be paid to the encoder. Another advantage of CMS is the possibility of quick response, you can update the website yourself at any time. The website can be constantly maintained and updated.
CMS is used wherever content changes frequently, is added by more people or is conveniently managed. All you need for the overall administration of the website is a classic internet browser. The CMS can directly manipulate the structure of the website.
